Photos from SCS2025 in Västerås

The Swedish National Chemistry Meeting SCS2025 took place at Steam Hotel in Västerås between the 16th-18th of June 2025. Below, you can see photos of some highlights from the event.

Networking and Exhibition

People from all fields of chemistry came gathered at SCS2025 to explore the latest scientific advancements and connect with colleagues from Sweden and beyond. Generous opportunities for networking were offered during breaks and dedicated mingle sessions.

Two colleagues were reunited at SCS2025: Pauline Rudd (University College Dublin) and Janos Hajdu (Uppsala University). The first time they met was in Oxford in the 1990s and the second time was in Västerås, where they both received medals for their contributions to chemistry.
